MCRU have available a rather special pair of loudspeaker cables that were made and cancelled.

2.5 metre stereo pair using Furutech DSS-4.1 DUCC copper cable (£400 per metre retail) terminated with Furutech carbon fibre bodied rhodium plated locking banana plugs for optimum performance.

The cable is sheathed in our carbon fibre infused sleeving to protect the cables from the affects of RFI.

Description

Furutech’s DUCC Ultra Crystallized High Purity Copper is supplied and regulated with strict quality control by Mitsubishi Materials Industries. MMI is a leading manufacturer of the highest-purity oxygen-free copper in the world. Mitsubishi’s process uses newly developed technology that optimally aligns the crystals while reducing the number of crystal-grain boundaries.

The DSS 4.1 Speaker Cable comes included with a textile sheath/covering which is soft to the touch, and very attractive. This cable has a shield, and is designed not to need connection at either end, per Furutech’s recommendation. Flexibility is exceptional, and much better than many speaker cables of this AWG and/or diameter.
